Titus 2 Triumph’s Doctrinal Beliefs
The following are referred to as Essential Doctrines of the Christian Faith. Individually and together, they define what a “Christian” or follower of Jesus Christ is according to the Old and New Testaments of the Bible. Christians may not know or understand these essentials, but they definitely will not reject them.
I. The Deity of Jesus Christ
True Christians believe that Jesus is the one and only God Almighty Himself revealed in human form and that He is simultaneously both fully God and fully Man.
Genesis 15:2, Psalm 2:2-9; 45:6-7, Matthew 28:19, John 1:1-14; 20:26-29
Acts 20:28, Hebrews 1:13, 1 John 5:20, Revelation 1:8; 22:7,12-13
Exodus 3:13-14 cf. (cross-reference with) John 8:58
II. The Trinity.
There is one God who subsists in three distinct Persons: God, the Father; God, the Son; and God, the Holy Spirit.
Psalm 95:7-11 with Hebrews 3:7-11
Isaiah 6:6-10 with Acts 28:25-27
Jeremiah 31:31-34 cf. Hebrews 10:15-18

Also, compare Deuteronomy 6:4 and Mark 12:29 with the following:
1) 1 Peter 1:2 for God, the Father
2) John 1:1-14 for God, the Son
3) Acts 5:3-4 for God, the Holy Spirit
III. The Vicarious Atonement for Man’s Sin by Christ’s Death. A true Christian believes that Jesus shed His own blood and died on the cross for his or her sins.

IV. Jesus’ Physical Resurrection from the Dead.
Prophesy about Jesus’ death and resurrection was specific, and it clearly referred to His
physical body.

Daniel 12:2, John 2:19,21 cf. Luke 24:36-39

V. Salvation by Grace Alone through Faith Alone in Christ Alone.
Salvation is a GIFT based on God’s loving grace through what Christ has ALREADY done for us. It is a work of our loving and merciful God, not a work of sinful man.
